PATLABOR: Helldiver
BANDAI 1/60 Helldiver: In 'Patlabor' universe, 'labors' are piloted or automated 'mechas' who work everywhere - military, civil construction, etc... - and in all corners of the world. So I decided to make an brazilian 'Helldiver' (a military airborne 'labor'), bought from Japan and used by the Brazilian forces fight the increased activity of 'druglords' in the vast Amazonian jungle. These units are carried by special VTOL carriers and launched directly in the combat zone (concealed druglabs, clandestine airports, guerrilla quarters, etc...) inside the Brasil portion of Amazonia.

Like others Bandai things, this kit is well made, and have lots of joints, making him very posable. I built it straigth from the box, with only addition - the grenade launcher is his left 'shoulder', made of a bit of spare pieces. I painted this with Tamyia and others paints, and used a custom decals set for bra\ilian vehicles in various scales. I plan to add one missile launcher in the future (where in his body I don't know).
