IMAI 1/72 Valkyrie VF-1A Gerwalk mode:
"This kit is well similar to the ones of the Bandai, does not know if it is the same mold. But it is
a good kit, with rabbets that they had not needed almost no Putty. The cabin well is detailed for
1/72 and comes with pilot. They are not many parts in the kit, and the assembly can be made in parts
as members and fuselage. The model is articulated allowing some poses, however it is not
transformable.
The used color was a RAF Dark Earth, but in the drawing ot the box art it is more for brown clearly.
However I liked resulted it. I tried to make a 'wash' to enhance the lines of the panels and
although to have improved in the application of this technique, the result is not what I desired,
therefore still it has blots in some parts. The decals are a little thick, and still after apply Micron
and two layers of Future over it, the transparencies can be viewed if you look so close.
I was surprised with this kit, before I start with it I think it would be a bad kit. Does not have
the same detailment of kits from the Hasegawa's Macross, but it is a very good model!" - Eduardo.
