Welcome!
These
are my Great Expectation pages for the next two years, in
celebration of my engagement and wedding.
JP and I met last year in a very
occasionally way. I cannot say we have one of those
first sight love stories, because he tried for two years
to tell me he was in love, but I have never noticed
anything more than a friendship between us.
Our story is pretty simple: he sent
me a SMS, one of those mobile phone messages, telling me
he would like to know me better and asking if we could
meet and talk a little bit about other issues besides
teaching and university. Up to this point, we met,
talked a little bit more about ourselves, and I asked time to think. That situation, considering our friendship in first place, was very new to me. We started dating in October 14 and we got engaged in May 2005, by my birthday.
Though
pretty simple I may say our meeting really made a
difference in my life. We have several things in common,
we share a special love for teaching and a sense of
respect and attention.
Our
plans of a life together are just starting, so there is
going to be many news to come soon.
